is the modernization and streamlining of systems and
processes which support the University Budget Office's Primary Functions:
- Annual Operating Budget
- Internal Reporting
- External Reporting

INSIGHT is
focused on:
- Creative thinking to step beyond existing day-to-day methods to
adopt better ways for accomplishing goals.
- New technology opportunities, including Web-based
reporting.
- Collaboration with other University offices to develop and use
common data sources.
INSIGHT is accomplished by:
- Leadership from the Insight Steering Committee which manages
the project and sets priorities. The Insight Advisory Committee reviews project
progress and provides input about project direction and the impact of proposed
changes.
- Integrated and dynamic Core Teams which develop and implement
recommendations for improvements to processes and projects within their areas.
The teams include:
