Common Data Set
2008 - 2009
The Common Data Set is a standard for each undergraduate location used primarily by publishers of admissions guides and others seeking basic information about colleges and universities. The Common Data Set has been developed over a number of years as a collaborative effort among the College Board, U.S. News and World Report, publishers Wintergreen/Orchard House, and a large number of colleges and universities. Much of the information included in the Common Data Set is taken directly from IPEDS reports, which all institutions submit annually to the federal government.
