increases, including support for new facilities, deferred maintenance projects,
and fuel and utilities cost increases.
- Academic Programs -

PROGRAM INVESTMENT PRIORITIES:
- Information Sciences and Technology (IST)

Complete the build-up of the educational programs in the School of
Information Sciences and Technology, an area that is critically important to
the economic vitality of the Commonwealth.
- Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension

Restore lost programming capacity and support areas of high priority
for Pennsylvania's agricultural community.
- Medical Education -
Offset the decline in
income provided from hospital clinical operations and bring the Commonwealth's
support of medical education more in line with public medical schools
nationally.
- Workforce Development at the Pennsylvania
College of Technology -
Strengthen workforce development programs at
Penn College.
